K-POP MOMENTS Dance Workshop with Suyoung Park

A song that went viral all around the globe and the choreography entirely open to all levels. A workshop and event welcoming beginners and those joining the great core energy that a K-Pop dance workshop led by an expert instructor with global industry experience can offer.

Maybe you are curious about K-pop dance and want to give it a go

Or you are a mover and want to get back to the moves, skills and styles involved in the popular and diverse dance style

Or maybe you just want to join a fun group dance event and be part of the uplifting energy.

A 2-hour event with ample time to warm up and relax through exercises, ease into moves, learn choreography and be part of a group dance!

Max of 10 members only to ensure a great experience. Individual abilities will be taken care of. A supportive space for beginners to ask questions and communicate with the teacher. The workshop will include an introduction, movement exercises, choreography learning, working on key moves, finishing a mini group dance piece with an option to be filmed and fun time to make friends!

Date and Time: 3rd May Fri 7pm - 9pm

Location: Central London NW1

Suitable for beginners and those returning to the core skills and energy of K-pop

This interactive dance workshop includes:

• Intro within the group and fun warm-up with a dance partner
• Learn the movement from an expert teacher, Suyoung
• Practice poses and do exercises with your partner
• Share the joy of dancing together - together we will make that group dance - Fighting 

This workshop is taught by artist and dance instructor Suyoung Park and hosted by Waterway Workshop, with our facilitator ensuring a great experience and assisting with filming and photography.

Su young Park is a multidisciplinary artist originally from South Korea based in London. She is a professional dancer and instructor with skills in Kpop, Improvisation and Hiphop with 18 years in the global industry, having taught in South Korea and then in countries around the world. She is a judge of the Kpop UK National Competition. As a multidisciplinary artist her understanding of movement, body and cultures is also presented in other art forms through contemporary performance works. That’s why she brings authentic Kpop dance teaching with an emphasis of “we are together at this moment”.
